l have never gone skiing.And would really like to try it.Should l get adult lessons or should l just get out on an easy slope and test it out.Should l rent equipment since l am only trying it or should l try to buy it used.l do not wanna try it and hate it and have spent a ton of money on equipment.Any suggestions?

Rent the gear and then take lessons. Even good skiers can benefit from lessons.

Rent and get a lesson. Go on the web to see what your chosen mountain has for a package, usually they will combine all that into some sort of learn to ski package for an attractive price (sometimes even free!).

l would suggest taking a few lessons, and see if you like it, they will take you down the bunny hills and everything. If you do not like then you can just quit. l learned to ski when l was 5, but my friends just learned, and they picked up within 3 classes, and they were going on the chairlifts and everything. So if you just took a few lessons, then l am sure that you would pick it up fairly quickly.

l think its very useful if you took a lesson. The instructors will teach you the basics and take you to the easy slopes to try it out. You should rent first and if you really like skiing, buy later.
