Stay in control and know their limits. Those are the most important two. On top of that, l would definitely tell them to go slower rather than faster. If you're too slow, there are no consequences. If you're too fast, consequences can be horrible.

Do not be scared to fall. but DO be scared to hit a tree--so don't!

Really. LOL It is actually pretty dangerous to hit a tree. even famous people have died hitting one. Remember Sonny and Cher? Sonny died while skiing, he hit a tree, and he was an avid and excellent skier.

Make sure they stay on the bunny hills. they should be taking lessons. You're not the instructor, are you?! I'd be terrified to think you're the instructor and asking for advice!

you dont. a person turns to a good skiier by just letting them go loose and do whatever they want. l skied alone my first time when l was 4!

teach them basics like to turn their toes in to stop and if they get scared they can sit down just tell them not to try to go too fast starting out

At first u sure must do a warming-up. Ordinary exercises & fun, u can do something like a tag / slalom between the ski poles. If it would be larger group u should be careful that ski boots r a bit brutal in touch with heads.

Then learn them the snow-plow; how to stop. One times grasp successively EACH ONE´s (depends how big the group is) ski boots - not ski tips - , keep the skis in the position of snow-plow & go down the hill (you´re going backwards) & the kid must all the time look into ur eyes - that is important. You could also occasionally check ur direction not to crash into somebody. Then u can give a ski pole at the ground & tell them to stop just before it (by putting more pressure to their legs, resp. extending the angle of the skis ''between ur ski tails there is a place for an elephant & here, those tips, they r two mice. They have to be all the time together. But if they would touch each other, they will bite off each other´s tails (mouse´s tail) ''). Then learn them how to turn (de facto by moving their weight). The most important thing is to always keep their knees bended. At this age nothing else is so important. Do not say sth. but show it.
''Show must go on'' all the time - do boshes. At the age of 10 they don´t have to be much respectable boshes.

When they can control their own ride, tell them basic ski rules & at the first time when somebody violate it, kill him in the Sicilian way.
