Thinking about getting snowblades for next season. I've had my heart set on Rossignol the 'Mini Girl' since they were made 'cos well basically the look the nicest. Does anyone know if they're any good and also is it worth buying a pair or should l just keep on hiring them?
Cheers x

Definately buy your skis. If you want some blades, Rossi would be a good choice, but check out some other companies too.

Blades are great fun!!!
Make sure you get the correct length though, over 5feet tall you need at least 90cm, l am 5'8'' and l use 99.9 Salomon's
Also see if you can get release (standard ski) bindings.. Easier get on or off and also safer + they have a riser plate for tighter turns..

Enjoy them!!

It is definitely NOT worth buying a pair. In fact, do not even hire (rent) them anymore. Snowblades are so haggard. They look ridiculous. Skiers look silly enough, but when they're skiing on blades, it is just retarded. Stick with the normal skis..

Or better yet, learn how to snowboard.

blades do not seem like something most people would want to buy. u wo not have the same amount of control or speed & balance that u would on a regular size ski or a snowboard. l wear 100 cm childrens skis when l instruct children is lessons & taking them up to the top of the mountain when im not able to change mid lesson can create for some interesting skiing. if u try & ski with anyone who is not on blades, u probably wo not be able to keep up. so unless u spend 5-6 days a week at the hill, just rent instead.
