l wanna buy a sixty dollar scorpion recommended for skiing but l will not just use it for skiing. l ski about 15 days a year.

A camelback is one of the best purchases you can make. l use mine for hiking, biking, skiing, etc. l will never be without one again.

They are wonderful for any outdoor activity, once you have it you will think ''Why did not l get one before?'' Hiking, even just walking around at outdoor festivals or at the lake - you will be really glad to have it.

For skiing, absolutely not. It is not a very strenuous sport and if you really need a drink the lodge is not far away. It is easier to ski without a backpack on. However, if you're not just skiing, it might be a good idea as the things are pretty useful for hiking, walking, etc.

Not worth it. For only 15 days a year. Like somebody said, just pop in the lodge every few hours, and in the meantime, find some cleanish looking snow to put in your mouth.

Try not to join the backpack fad. Unless you are out all day, without access to a lodge.

the only reason my friend got a camelback for skiing was to put a video camera in for filming, other than that its pretty useless for skiing, dont buy a $60 one, get a cheap one that fits only what you need to fit in it. the ones with little straws on them are stupid, go to the lodge and drink out of a fountain. but l dont like to waste my time goin to the lodge, so l just eat clean snow. simple as that.

Camel backs are awsome. l use mine for hunting, backpacking, skiing, road biking, mountian biking, and rock climbing. The trick is to always keep them clean.
