No it is not true, just mostly. Sex and money are not everything in life, but they are way ahead of what is in 3rd place, which just might be skiing in 4 ' of deep dry powder. As to your chances, you make your own odds. If you are ready and willing the odds are yes. But is not that true anywhere?

every season l have skied (for the past 15 years any way) l have gotten some killer $$. Is it the snow? Is it my killer looks? well maybe. More likely its all the beer at the end of the day.

In 20 years I've never noticed at direct correlation between ski season & sex season. See.sex season never really ends & ski season does (for most people.)

If u show up at the slope, ski all day, & then hop into ur car & head home.unless u a) were skiing with ur significant other or b) said significant other is waiting at home, ur chances of getting laid that day r pretty low. Now, u can up ur chances of picking up someone ON the slopes by making conversation in the lift lines (works for both genders equally), scouring the bunny hills (guys' tactic), or hanging out in the park & pipe (good tactic for chicks.)

Ski trips where u have a lot of people from the ski club or a school all traveling to the same place & staying in a hotel ups the chances for some action. l think the odds r equal for hooking up with someone on the trip as they r for meeting someone at the resort/hotel who is there on their own.

Personally, when l was in HS, we raced once or twice a week. A girl from one of the other local schools had a house at the place we often skied & as soon as we were done racing, 10-25 of us were at the house getting loaded & hanging out in the hot tub. In spite of the lack of any sort of adult supervision, few people ever got any action. We were usually wrecked from playing Asshole or Beer Pong & people were usually sleeping 3-4 per room, so finding a quiet place to get it on was unlikely.

We used to say we had a HS drinking team with a skiing problem.

Of course ski season is all about sex. So is fishing season, baseball season, golf season......
