Are K2 Raiders good all around skis

k2 skis have a pretty good reputation in general. l skied with k2s a few times & they were great. they were really smooth in powder & crisp on the turns. l clearly remember them being pretty stable & controllable. freestyle was not a problem either.

i just checked a website & the manufacture is description is ''New to the line, the Raider is exceptionally versatile & built for the athletic skier seeking performance at an exceptional value.''

so i'd say if u were intermediate to expert skier, these would be pretty good for you.

k2 skis are probs one of the best brands of skis you can buy but you have pay a little more for them they range from 500 to 1300

It seems to be well designed, l have not had a chance to try them yet, but the size & the design seem to be just about what u want for versatility of all conditions. A 78mm foot will give some support in deep snow & some grip on groomed snow. All skis r a series of compromises, but this looks to be good. It is very close to Axis XP that l am using for deep snow which is great. Read the write up & the blurbs about them, try to find a demo day for the best solution to choices. Have fun.
