My mom is visiting for Christmas and wants to watch all of the grandkids ski, but does not wanna ski herself.Is there a resort that has a chalet or lounge with a great view of the ski hills where she can sit inside and still see?

Most resorts have warming huts at bases of the ski hills. Places will be crowded during Christmas. You want to look for ski in ski out if u want to be close to the base. Vail & all other destination locations will be packed so u might want to go somewhere smaller. You could go to Breckenridge or keystone the r both very close to Denver. If u just wanted to stay somewhere close to Denver u could stay in Nederland & make the 15 minute drive to Eldora grandma could sit in a warming hut & watch.
