l am 5'7 and 135lbs
and im size 160.(i just got some new K2's)

so

l would suggest getting yourself skis around size 165-170. They should fit..

and if you want some cool skis, check out Atomic is new line up. they have some awesome graphics on their twin tipped skis.

check out the atomic pimp, theyre sooo cool looking, l was about to buy those.

l also like to add location in to the equation when sizing skis. l live in MN so our hills are not too big so l tend to get a size smaller then l would if l skied the Rockies or something like that. With that said l am 5'10 175lbs and ski a 170. If l had something besides groomers to ski l would probably be skiing a 177 or something like that

For park skiing, l think u should start with 165cm & see how u like it. Then try 5cm longer or 5cm shorter to compare. Shorter skis r more agile, easier to balance & maneuver; but they r slower, they pop less, & they r not as smooth on landings. Longer skis give u more speed, more pop, & smoother landing but they can hook on turns, they r not as agile & not as easy to balance. These r the factors u want to watch when demoing.

Always demo several models & lengths before settling down with one. Close ur eyes on the brands & graphics. Focus on the how the skis perform for ur skiing style.

l am 153lb. My twintip park skis r 171cm & they r perfect length for my taste. Not too short. Not too long.

You suggest you are in your teens, and about 173 cm, so l suggest you try some 170 to 175 cm skis. Twin tips ski short for their measured length and you may want to go up a little longer. This will allow some room for growth and with at least 6 years experience, you should be fairly skilled at the sport. For most of the modern shaped skis, a 165 would be about right, twin tips need another 5-10 cm to ski the same. Have fun.
