Interested in a boot / binding setup that can be telemark and downhill binding combo.Any suggestions?

l believe what u r looking for is a Randonee (aka Alpine Touring) set-up. with AT u free the heel skinning uphill & then lock down the heel for the descent. You do not ski downhill using the Telemark technique with such a set up.
When u r using Telemark boots & bindings ur heel is NEVER locked down.
Garmont, Scarpa, Asolo, & Crispi make Telemark boots. Garmont, Scarpa, Dynafit, & Crispi make AT boots.
G3, Black Diamond, Rottefella, & Voile make Telemark bindings.
Marker, Dynafit, Backcountry Access, & Fritschi Diamir.
Hit me back when u decide which discipline (Telemark or AT) u wish to learn. Then l can give u some suggestions on gear & skis.
