l am a decent skiier and l am a freshman in highschool. l am considering changing to snowboarding on our family ski trip. What is your opinion? Leaving in 10 minutes!!!

give snowboarding a try. it never hurts to learn something new. snowboarding is a lot of fun and pretty easy to get the hang of. and you would have skiing as a back-up.

Give snowboarding a try. You will have a rough first day with bumps & bruises (get a helmet), but should be enjoying yourself on Greens & even Blues by the 2nd or 3rd day. Try it for a day & if u really do not like it, switch back!
l was a skier first, switched to snowboard while in college for a few years, went back to skis, & now l do both. It is fun to be able to do both, depending on what ur friends want to (or can) do. l enjoy tree skiing & taking big jumps on skis, but really like carving down Blues & Blacks (no moguls) on snowboard.

You can switch between them. l am a good skier but l tried snowboarding and it is awsome.
