ive heard about grass skiing but ive never heard of any place to actually do it?

l do not think its very popular any more. l used to teach grass skiing in NC years ago. The rate of injury was very high because you dont slide when you fall or have the snow to soften the fall. l imagine the insurance and liability of the sport probably made it about non-existent in the us. as far as the other locations? l cant tell you. sorry.

Most popular places for grass skiing are in Central Europa: Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Czech Rep. You can also skiing on the grass in Japan and Iran. You can find more info on grasski.de.

l gave up skiing on grass, but l will have some back at the cabin when l am done for the day. ;-)
