l wore both when l went skiing and found that goggles got to hot and steamed up.. so sunglasses were the best for me.

goggles. because. goggles.

sunglasses if you have eye problems though because they stop the glare (if they're polarised) but l suggest ski goggles because they are specially designed to stop glare and keep snow out of yours eyes, all the obvious reasons ;)

For me it really just depends on how l am feeling. If it is really cold and not very sunny, probably goggles when l snowboard. However, l usually just wear sun glasses because they're way less clunky and do not fog up as easily.

Depends what the weather is like & how good a skier u are.

If it is snowing a lot & windy then goggles offer much better protection from the elements.
If u r an absolute beginner who is going to spend a lot of time falling over for the first couple of days learning then goggles would be best again as u do not want to be smashing lots of pairs of sunglasses.

If the weather is nice & u can stay on ur feet most of the time then glasses r much more comfortable & u won;t come back home with an untanned, massive white patch on the front of ur face!

If u buy proper sunglasses made especially for skiing they will offer the same level of protection from the sun as goggles do, do not worry. proper skiing sunglasses r likely to be more expensive than goggles though.

Whatever u get make sure u do not get the cheapest.same for gloves.

Sunglasses do not give as much SUN protection as ski goggles. So definitely go for the ski goggles, they also give more protection from the wind etc.

For me its goggles, they feel more secure, l am too scared that sunglasses are gonna fall off. Not that you should be looking down while skiing anyway but whatever. Mine dont fog up, you can get anti fog ones.

it depends:
ski goggles- keep you warm, protect your eyes (from wind and sun unless you buy the clear lenses which are for night skiing), look good (if you have taste)
sun glasses- look ridiculous

Goggles...and moreso if you are wearing a helmet

l dont even bother with glasses these days.

ski goggles because they are multi purpose. you can use goggles at night if its snowing, as sunglasses, and to protect your face. sunglasses are only for sunny days, and not at night. and now there is new technology that wont cause goggles to fog up and be cooler. ski goggles are the way to go.
