does anyone know the best place to go skiing? how much does it cost?

l am from New Zealand so of course l recommend hitting the slopes here!

It depends on where you are. In North America the premiere resort is IMO Whistler/Blackcomb in BC, Canada. Lift tickets are about $60/day US, probably higher next season. Other US resorts seem to be about $45-$60/ day. The best resort is always the one where you are having the most fun. You must decide just what you want from the resort. Best snow? Best facilities? Best night life? Best day care or instruction?

to get the best skiing, you gotta go to Austria

All depends on what country u want. Whistler or Mammoth r great mountains but l have no idea of cost, anywhere in Norway l assume would be good but it would be very expensive. In colorado keystone/breck/a-basin/vail r great resorts with tickets at $80 in feb is a great deal. YOu get to go to all of them at any time, so l went to all but keystone during the day, then when they closed l head to keystone for night skiing, it was a great deal. l stayed at holiday inn which was cheap like $80 a night for 4 of us. You really have to decide how much u want to spend & then look at ski resorts, that would be my best advice, & try to go in february as all their prices will be down after christmas season
