I am going skiing this weekend, and l do not think l have all the equipment needed. Here is what l have:

-skis
-ski pants
-ski jacket
-goggles
-ski boots
-ski gloves
-poles
-hat
-scarf

What else do l need?

Helmet if you fall occasionally.

a helmet if you wear one..foot and hand warmers, underarmer, sweatshirts, extra gloves, lunch? it can be expensive if you buy food at ski lodges

A thermal base layer and fleeces to wear under your jacket and trousers and a helmet if the country where you are skiing enforces it. l would check the website of the ski resort you are going to to find out if you need a helmet.

Long Johns!

A plastic whistle with a compass and thermometer included. Use this in case you are lost to call for help. It should be near your collar so you put it in your mouth easily. Also a water bottle and a survival blanket in a small fanny pack, ski wax, money and food for 3 times the length of time you are gone, unless you are right in a developed ski area. Remember the mountain does not care if you live or die. Take lessons from a professional instructor, it could save your life.

Great as the sport is, please do not go off on your own, even to a big popular resort, until you are confident and competent.

everybody forgot the bindings on your skis, and l wouldent use a scarf l would use a neckwarmer, or for freesyle skiing a bandana. Scarfs get very annoying
