I am going for a skiing lesson before l go on my school ski trip. l have all the ski clothes and they provide boots and stuff but l do not know if l will be too hot wearing all the base layers and everything l would wear away skiing. l thought l would wear the ski trousers as they are waterproof and l will probably fall over a lot! But should l wear my ski coat as well and how many layers underneath? Thanks.

It is COLD there. Not as cold as on a ski slope because there is not any wind giving increased chill factor.

Wear several layers & leave the coat etc, undone/take off before u go in. Do not economise because if u r spending a fair time on ur lessons in there u will soon cool down & be unhappy.

As part of an instruction class u will spend a lot of time standing about waiting for ur time so u will not be on the go all the time generating heat !

l live close to there and have been there quite a few times.
Its cold but not windy.
If it was me i'd wear:
Waterproof Trousers, with Thermal leggings OR thin trousers underneath.
Coat, and Jumper, and thermal top.
Warm socks. Gloves.
If you wear layers you could always take off the jumper and hat.
Do not worry you will have a good time.
