l always do this l fret about skiing the night before. l am nervous about the height of the mountain. l went last year and l id fine but this year l am just freakin out. We go to Camelback Mt. in Tannersville, PA. l ve been skiing since l was 5 nd had no prob wit it until now why am l so nervous?

So l guess u have a fear of heights. Is that correct? or sometimes l get scared because l am stuck on a mountain like 20 minutes or so from the bottom & longer from any medical help. l really do not know how to shake that or explain it but l know that when l get there l immediatly calm down because when u r skiing it is just so relaxing. You outside surrounding by skiers. Sometimes nervousness can not be explained but l would say to calm yourself down, well u know take deep breaths(six a minute) & dont think about the height or the fear, just think about how fun its going to be.

Anxiety about the event is the problem. Think about skiing the beginner slope for the first 2-3 runs to reawaken the muscle memory. l get nervous too sometimes.

l do not know. just try to relax and do not think too much. if you have been skiing that long, i'm sure you will do fine.
